Pavers or concrete — which is better here?
Both work. Pavers flex with ground movement and individual units can be lifted and reset if something settles; concrete is a single surface with fewer joints. The right answer depends on your site, your budget and how you want it to look.
Can you fix a patio instead of replacing it?
Often, yes — especially with pavers, where resetting a sunken section is straightforward. With badly cracked concrete it's worth an honest look before spending money on a repair that won't hold.
Do you handle drainage problems?
Grading the surface so water runs away from your foundation is part of doing the job right, not an add-on.
