How short should grass be cut in Colorado?
Higher than most people think. Taller grass shades its own roots, holds moisture longer and crowds out weeds — all of which matter more at this altitude and in this dry air.
Do you haul away the clippings?
For a standard mow we typically mulch or leave clippings, which returns nutrients to the lawn. If you'd rather they be bagged and hauled, say so when you request a quote.
Can you do a one-time cleanup on an overgrown yard?
Yes. Overgrown properties, rentals between tenants and yards that got away from someone over a season are routine work for us.
